The Party Experience

We have Birthday Parties down to a science!

Mad Science birthday parties entertain children of all ages with exciting, high-energy, interactive shows that come to you. Our no mess, hassle-free parties are 50-60 minutes long. Our parties can be done indoors or outdoors and are most appropriate for ages 5-12. Parties are generally done on Saturdays and Sundays, but can be done throughout the week as well. Children will be amazed by spectacular science demonstrations including chemical magic, movie special effects and amazing bubbling potions.

Every child at your Mad Science party will make a fun hands-on item to take home. Options include slippery slime, silly putty or a superball. Pick your child’s favorite!

Slippery Slime: Discover the ooey gooey origins of plastic and make your own slippery slime. Best for ages 5-12.

Silly Putty: Take part in a chemical reaction that will change ordinary glue into Mad Science silly putty. Best for ages 6-12.

Superballs: Transform special crystals into a real super bouncy ball. Each superball is one of a kind. Best for ages 8-12.

As our gift, your birthday child will be presented with a giant, full-color Mad Science birthday poster for all the guests to sign.

Rocket Launch: Make your party a blast! Watch as the Mad Scientist launches a rocket 200 feet into the sky and see it return by parachute. We will also present your birthday child with a model rocket kit to build at home with you afterwards.

Cotton Candy: The Mad Scientist will bring a cotton candy machine and make cotton candy right before your very eyes. Children will learn how heat changes the property of sugar crystals into a tasty treat. Who knew science could taste so good!

Goody Bags: Our goody bags contain an exciting collection of science toys that provide hours of fun, long after the party is over. Our goody bags come in a bright, colorful Mad Science bag and include a helix flyer, spin disk, adhesive kit, temporary tattoos, soak n' grow creature, polymer putty and a flip top.

Invitations: Start the party right with full color Mad Science Birthday Party Invitations. A pack of 20 invitations is $15 and each additional set of 5 is available for $2.50.
